Do you have to file for bankruptcy in the county you live in in Oklahoma or can you file in any county?

Bankruptcy cases are not filed at the county courthouse but are filed in one of the three federal bankruptcy districts in Oklahoma, depending on where you live or where you own assets. The three bankruptcy courts are located in Okmulgee (Eastern District), Tulsa (Northern District) and Oklahoma City (Western District).
