There’s no Christmas cheer at Arrow Trucking. Instead, hundreds of Tulsa families are shell-shocked as it looks like the Tulsa based trucking company has hauled its last load.
Company executives told employees this morning to pack their belongings and go home as the company has run out of money and is suspending operations. Workers weren’t given their last paychecks and benefits have been cut off.
According to long-time employees, the business has been deteriorating over the past several years, culminating most recently with payroll checks that bounced.
Arrow Trucking drivers all across the country are reported to be stranded because the company company stopped payment on their fuel cards.
Company phones are not being answered and the company’s web site has been shut down.
Arrow Trucking was founded in 1948 by Jim Pielsticker who died in a plane crash in 2001. Since then, Jim’s son Doug Pielsticker has served as the company’s President & CEO.
