More than 100 people found themselves without their jobs and without their last paychecks when Automated Research & Marketing abruptly went out of business last week.
Workers say that they were told to leave the business and that the company could not provide their last checks.
Former employee Eunice Reed said that she feels like she was “robbed.”
There was no answer at the Tulsa office Sunday night, and a number for the company’s headquarters in Fayetteville, Ark., led to a recording that said the line had been disconnected.
The company’s Web site, which has been taken down, said Automated Research and Marketing had been in business for nine years.
